Terms of Service

Current release: a closed early pilot. Account setup is available to adults, while real-member introductions and communication features are limited to approved invited members during controlled testing. Clearly labeled sample profiles and conversations are illustrations.
Zvoog is built for serious Jewish dating with the goal of marriage. Its planned features include introductions and communication tools; it does not choose a spouse, guarantee compatibility or replace personal, family, medical, legal or rabbinic judgment.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms form an agreement between you and Bereshit Services LLC, operator of Zvoog. By creating an account or using Zvoog, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter this agreement, and use Zvoog in good faith for serious dating. You may not use Zvoog if you are legally prohibited from doing so, have been suspended for safety reasons, or provide a false date of birth or identity.
3. Your account and profile
Provide accurate, current information and one recent photograph of yourself. Keep your sign-in credentials private and notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Zvoog’s failure to use reasonable security. You may not impersonate another person, maintain deceptive duplicate accounts or create an account for someone without authorization.
4. Progressive introductions
Planned live introductions will delay certain information while a reciprocal conversation develops. Features and thresholds may change during the pilot as we measure safety, respectful participation and real dates. Once member introductions open, you may decline an introduction, pause your profile, block another member or end a conversation at any time. No member is entitled to another person’s name, voice, call, photograph, reply or continued attention.
5. Acceptable conduct
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, pressure, stalk, shame or sexually exploit another person;
- send explicit sexual content, hate speech, scams, requests for money or intentionally deceptive information;
- circumvent contact-sharing, reveal, pacing, block, moderation or security controls;
- scrape profiles, copy private content, use bots, reverse engineer safeguards or access another member’s account;
- publish another member’s messages, voice, photograph or personal information without permission;
- use Zvoog for advertising, recruiting, political activity, financial solicitation or any unlawful purpose.
6. Safety and meeting offline
Zvoog does not conduct a complete background investigation of every member and cannot verify every statement. Use independent judgment. Before meeting, consider a voice or video call, tell someone you trust, meet in a public place, arrange your own transportation, protect financial information and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Contact local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
7. Religious and matching information
The planned religious-status and compatibility controls are designed to reduce clearly inappropriate introductions based on the information members provide. They are not a psak halacha, certification of Jewish status or substitute for a competent rabbi. Members remain responsible for appropriate personal and rabbinic verification before engagement or marriage.
8. Member content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Zvoog a limited permission to host, process, moderate and display that content only as needed to operate, protect and improve the service. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal obligations, security records and content another member legitimately retains.
9. Moderation and enforcement
We may review reports and content using automated controls and authorized people. We may warn, limit, pause or terminate accounts; close conversations; preserve evidence; or contact authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, law or enforcement of these Terms. We will seek to provide notice and an appeal path when appropriate, but immediate action may be necessary.
10. Pilot service and changes
Zvoog is operating a limited early pilot. Real-member introductions and communication are available only to approved invited members and may be paused, limited by geography, or changed while we test safety and reliability. Some capabilities may remain disabled for a particular member or build. We will not represent illustrative profiles, stories or counters as real member outcomes.
11. No guarantee
Zvoog does not guarantee matches, replies, attraction, dates, engagement or marriage. Compatibility scores and introduction reasons are estimates based on member-provided information and cannot predict a successful relationship. The service is provided with reasonable care but may experience interruptions or errors.
12. Responsibility and applicable law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bereshit Services LLC is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, decisions made by members, or conduct occurring outside Zvoog’s reasonable control. The laws that apply to Bereshit Services LLC and your use of Zvoog govern these Terms without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections where you live. Before starting a formal claim, please contact support@zvoog.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
13. Ending your account
You may stop using Zvoog or request account deletion. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or creates a safety, legal or security risk. Sections concerning safety, ownership, enforcement, responsibility and disputes continue where legally necessary.

Contact support@zvoog.com for support or privacy@zvoog.com for privacy requests. We may update these Terms and will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
